The firm allocated $12 million to Robinhood and invested a further $4 million in ether-focused treasury group Bitmine Immersion Technologies.

ARK Invest increased its crypto-related equity exposure on Thursday, deploying about $18 million across several names tied to the digital asset sector.

The firm purchased $2 million worth of shares in crypto exchange operator Bullish (BLSH), extending its buying streak in the company to 10 consecutive sessions. Bullish, the parent of CoinDesk, saw its stock dip 0.53% to $31.71. Although the shares have rebounded from a Feb. 5 low near $24 and are trading around the $30 level, they remain down more than 16% since the start of the year.

In addition, the St. Petersburg, Florida-based asset manager acquired $12 million in stock of trading platform Robinhood (HOOD) and invested $4 million in ether treasury firm Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), according to a disclosure released Friday.

Robinhood shares tumbled 8.9% to close at $71.12 as weakness in U.S. technology stocks weighed on risk assets, pulling down Bitcoin alongside them. Bitmine, however, outperformed the broader market, rising 1.39% to finish at $19.74.
