Spot Bitcoin ETFs Post Near-$1B Inflow in Major Monday Surge

U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs attracted $998.95 million on Monday as bitcoin rallied to its highest level since January, marking one of the strongest daily inflow sessions since the funds launched.

Bitcoin traded at around $85,990.84 as investors increased exposure through spot ETFs. The scale of Monday’s inflows was similar to levels seen during bitcoin’s previous run toward record highs.

SoSoValue data showed that Monday’s $998.95 million inflow was the largest since Oct. 6, 2025. On that day, bitcoin reached an all-time high of approximately $126,200.

The latest figure ranks as the ninth-largest daily inflow since U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs began trading on Jan. 11, 2024. BlackRock’s IBIT led with $381.37 million, followed by Ark’s ARKB at $289.12 million and Fidelity’s FBTC at $238.84 million.

The strong showing extended net inflows to three straight sessions, marking the first three-day winning streak in two weeks. The renewed buying followed a difficult period for bitcoin, which faced pressure after the Senate failed to advance the CLARITY Act and the Federal Reserve raised interest rates.

September’s total ETF inflows have now reached $1.31 billion, while August brought in $3.52 billion. The continued flow of capital suggests institutions remain active in the bitcoin market despite broader economic concerns, particularly worries over fiscal debt in developed economies.

Bitcoin has advanced 44% this quarter to roughly $85,000, outperforming major traditional assets such as gold.

Despite Monday’s strong performance, spot bitcoin ETFs remain $450 million lower on a year-to-date basis, leaving the funds below their net flow level at the start of the year.
