Strategy, the software intelligence firm chaired by Michael Saylor, continued its aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy last week with a fresh purchase of 1,045 BTC valued at approximately $110.2 million.
According to a regulatory filing released Monday, the acquisition was made at an average price of $105,426 per coin, and funded through the sale of STRK and STRF preferred equity. This latest addition raises Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 582,000 BTC, acquired at an average price of $70,086.
At current prices, Strategy’s holdings are worth over $62.5 billion, further cementing its reputation as the largest public company holder of Bitcoin.
Shares of MSTR rose nearly 2% in early trading Monday as markets reacted to both the purchase and Bitcoin’s recovery above $107,000.
