Pearl Crypto Soars Amid Coinbase Buzz, but Rally’s Trigger Remains Unclear

Pearl Crypto is extending its recent rally, with PEARL climbing to $2.27 as potential Coinbase listing speculation and growing interest in its AI-computing technology attract investors. CoinGecko data shows the token has risen 16.3% over the past week, bringing its market capitalization close to $800 million amid increased trading activity.

The latest price jump has renewed market interest in the AI-focused project, although the main catalyst remains uncertain. Traders are weighing whether speculation about Coinbase support is driving the rally or whether Pearl’s underlying technology is generating additional demand.

On October 19, Coinbase added Pearl (PEARL), Axis Labs (AXIS) and Stable (STABLE) to its asset-listing roadmap. The announcement placed the three tokens on traders’ watchlists as investors considered the possibility of future listings on the exchange.

Being included on a listing roadmap can serve as a short-term catalyst by increasing a token’s visibility and attracting speculative interest. It can also raise expectations of improved liquidity and access to a wider pool of investors, although roadmap inclusion does not guarantee a listing.

PEARL’s price movement reflects the renewed attention. After falling to approximately $1.67 on October 17, the token rallied above $2.20 by October 21. The recovery suggests stronger buying interest, but its ability to sustain the advance remains uncertain.

Pearl’s AI Computing Technology Attracts Investor Interest

Beyond exchange-related speculation, Pearl is promoting a blockchain model built around proof of useful work, which aims to connect mining with computational tasks used in artificial intelligence.

The project uses GPU-based matrix multiplication associated with AI workloads instead of relying exclusively on conventional cryptographic calculations. Its objective is to make the computing resources involved in mining useful for practical applications while supporting the operation of its blockchain.

This approach places Pearl within the expanding AI infrastructure sector, where investors are exploring crypto projects that aim to provide utility beyond token trading and speculation.

Pearl has also linked its technology to AI inference through Together AI, giving the project a potential application outside its core blockchain ecosystem. If the network demonstrates reliable performance, attracts more users and generates sustained demand for its computing services, its AI-focused approach could become an important factor in its long-term prospects.

This creates a potential source of interest beyond Coinbase speculation. While listing-related excitement can fade quickly, measurable adoption and commercial demand could provide a more durable foundation for Pearl’s growth.

The key challenge is whether the project can translate its technical capabilities into meaningful real-world usage as attention around PEARL increases.

PEARL Price Approaches a Critical Resistance Level

PEARL is trading at $2.27, bringing it close to the $2.30 level highlighted by its recent seven-day price action. After the rapid rebound, traders are watching this area to determine whether the token has enough momentum to extend its rally.

A sustained break above $2.30, supported by rising trading volume and stronger spot-market demand, could reinforce the bullish outlook and bring the previous all-time high back into focus. However, a rejection at this level could encourage profit-taking and reverse part of the recent advance.

Trading volume and derivatives positioning may offer additional clues about the rally’s strength. CoinGecko data shows $11.57 million in 24-hour trading volume, while perpetual futures open interest stands at $9.51 million. Increasing leveraged positions can intensify price swings in either direction, particularly if speculative activity grows faster than demand in the spot market.

Token supply is another factor for investors to consider. Approximately 352.6 million PEARL tokens are circulating, compared with a maximum supply of 2.1 billion. Future token releases and distribution schedules could influence available supply and create additional selling pressure.

Continued exchange-related attention, stronger spot buying and demonstrable growth in AI-computing adoption could support further gains. Conversely, weakening momentum, profit-taking or the unwinding of leveraged positions could push PEARL lower after its recent surge.
