Solana ETF Demand Jumps to $188M Weekly Record With Bitwise in Front

U.S. spot Solana ETFs brought in a record $188 million in net inflows last week, with all seven funds recording gains. Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for roughly 68% of the weekly total.

The group also set a new daily inflow record on Friday, when investors added about $87 million.

BSOL led the five-session period through Sept. 25 with approximately $128 million in inflows. Grayscale’s GSOL collected $28 million, while Fidelity’s FSOL drew about $18 million, according to weekly data shared by Solana’s official account.

The remaining $14 million was split among Morgan Stanley, VanEck, Franklin Templeton and 21Shares.

Friday Delivers Record Inflows

Friday’s $87 million intake represented nearly half of the week’s total and marked the biggest single-day inflow since the Solana ETFs launched.

Bitwise accounted for about $56 million of Friday’s figure, while Grayscale added approximately $19 million.

Spot Solana ETFs give investors exposure to SOL through standard brokerage accounts without requiring them to purchase and store the cryptocurrency directly.

Net inflows represent capital entering the funds after withdrawals. They do not measure the value of ETF shares traded between investors on the secondary market.

Bitwise Remains the Largest Recipient

BSOL has captured the majority of cumulative net inflows among the Solana ETF lineup.

The fund has attracted about $1.2 billion out of roughly $1.6 billion in total cumulative net inflows, giving it approximately 76% of the group’s overall inflows.

Its 68% share during the latest week was below its longer-term percentage, with competing products collectively bringing in around $60 million.

Bitcoin and Ether ETFs Also See Strong Demand

Investor interest extended to other crypto ETFs during the week.

U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $2.4 billion in inflows, while ether ETFs attracted around $690 million, according to CoinDesk calculations based on Farside’s daily data.

SOL traded near $119 during Monday’s Asian session, still around 60% below its record high of roughly $293.

Solana Tests Faster Finality

Meanwhile, Solana developers are advancing work on Alpenglow, a proposed upgrade focused on reducing transaction finality times.

The upgrade is designed to bring effective settlement from around 12.8 seconds to a target of approximately 150 milliseconds.

Alpenglow moved into its second public testing environment on Friday. The 150-millisecond target remains part of the development roadmap, and developers have yet to announce a mainnet deployment date.
