Key Crypto Week Ahead: Central Bank Policy Moves and Coinbase Earnings in Focus
The week starting October 26 will bring a series of important developments for cryptocurrency and financial markets, including interest-rate decisions from four major central banks, key U.S. economic reports and quarterly earnings from leading crypto companies.
The Federal Reserve and Bank of Canada will announce their policy decisions on Wednesday, followed by the European Central Bank on Thursday and the Bank of Japan on Friday. Investors will be looking beyond the immediate rate outcomes to assess policymakers’ guidance on the economic outlook and future monetary policy.
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s comments are likely to draw particular attention as markets search for clues about the December meeting. MEXC CEO Vugar Usi Zade told CoinDesk that traders are more concerned about the Fed’s next steps than its upcoming decision. Since markets largely expect rates to remain unchanged, holding them steady may have limited impact on investor sentiment.
The earnings calendar will also be closely watched. Galaxy Digital, Robinhood Markets, Coinbase Global and Strategy are among the crypto-related companies preparing to release financial results. PayPal and Mastercard will report as well, adding to an eventful week for investors.
