Crypto Stages Bullish Recovery Following Fed Rate Hike: Week Ahead
The week beginning Sept. 21 will feature several developments across crypto markets, U.S. economic data and digital-asset regulation.
Bitcoin is starting the week near the $84,000 mark as traders continue to assess last week’s Federal Reserve decision. The Fed raised its benchmark target rate to 4.00%, but the cryptocurrency market has so far remained resilient despite the initial hawkish response.
The macroeconomic agenda will be concentrated around the middle of the week. U.S. jobless claims, new home sales and durable goods orders will offer fresh signals on the economy. Global investors are also digesting recent policy decisions from the Bank of Japan and Bank of England as they reassess the broader path for interest rates.
Meanwhile, the SEC’s tokenized securities initiative will move into a new phase, putting blockchain-based stock trading among the week’s key crypto developments.
