Volume Soars 122% as BONK Defends Support in Broad Solana Market Selloff
BONK Stabilizes at Key Support After Heavy-Volume Selloff
October 29, 2025
BONK (BONK-USD) slipped 3.4% to $0.0000143 on Tuesday as renewed weakness across the Solana ecosystem triggered profit-taking and fresh selling pressure.
The decline pushed the token below the critical $0.0000146 support, confirming a short-term bearish setup that has developed over the past week, according to CoinDesk Research’s technical analysis model.
Trading volume surged 122% above average to reach 1.26 trillion tokens around 20:00 GMT, underscoring heightened participation from algorithmic and institutional traders during the move lower.
After peaking near $0.0000152, BONK failed to sustain momentum, forming a pattern of lower highs before retreating toward the $0.0000143 zone. Late-session volume spikes between 01:32 and 01:50 GMT helped trigger a modest rebound to $0.00001433, establishing a higher low near $0.00001429 — an early signal of base formation at support.
The token is now consolidating within the $0.0000143–$0.0000144 range, with resistance seen at $0.0000144–$0.0000146. Analysts expect range-bound trading in the near term, viewing current levels as potential areas for accumulation if volume strength persists.
