XRP Price Prediction: Ripple’s Recovery Remains Uncertain Around $1
XRP is trading around $1.01, down approximately 0.6% in the past 24 hours, as the token continues to move within a narrow $1.00-$1.02 range. The limited price movement suggests that XRP has yet to establish a convincing recovery, while a recent bridge exploit has added another concern for market participants.
The Coreum-XRP bridge reportedly suffered an exploit involving approximately 200,000 XRP. The attacker allegedly used a fraudulent deposit to trigger withdrawals, prompting the bridge team to shut down the service in an emergency response. The incident has also reportedly drawn FBI attention.
Meanwhile, traders are looking toward September and October for potential developments involving the CLARITY Act. Progress on the legislation could become a major catalyst for XRP, with the outcome potentially having a significant impact on market sentiment.
The broader crypto market remains stuck in a range as investors await fresh regulatory and macroeconomic catalysts. XRP is showing similar behavior, with compressed price action and relatively weak trading activity reflecting a lack of strong conviction among buyers.
At approximately $1.012, XRP remains below its major moving averages. The 7-day, 20-day, 50-day and 200-day SMAs are positioned around $1.03, $1.06, $1.08 and $1.31, respectively. With all four averages above the current price, the technical structure remains tilted to the downside.
Trading volume has also weakened, falling to around $885 million from approximately $905 million in the previous session. The decline indicates that market participation is cooling as traders wait for a clearer catalyst.
XRP Price Prediction: Key Levels to Watch
The bullish outlook could improve if the Stochastic indicator turns higher from oversold territory while XRP tests the lower Bollinger Band. This combination could trigger short covering and push the token toward $1.05. A favorable CLARITY Act development could provide an additional boost, while some longer-term projections continue to target the $1.50-$1.55 range.
Under the base-case scenario, XRP could remain range-bound between $1.00 and $1.05 while traders wait for further details on the regulatory timeline.
The bearish scenario would take shape if XRP loses the $1.00 support level. A decisive break could expose the token to the low-$0.90 range and weaken the argument that buyers are accumulating XRP near current prices.
The $1.00 area has remained an important level for XRP holders since November 2025, but another bounce from that zone would not automatically confirm a trend reversal. XRP still needs to recover its key moving averages before the broader technical picture improves.
A move above $1.05 would provide an initial sign of strength, although the token would still face significant resistance near $1.31, where the 200-day SMA currently sits. With XRP already carrying a substantial market capitalization, traders seeking greater upside potential may turn their attention to smaller infrastructure-focused projects.
Bitcoin Hyper Targets Bitcoin Layer 2 Growth
Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) is positioning itself as a Bitcoin Layer 2 network that combines SVM integration and high-speed smart contracts with security anchored to Bitcoin’s base layer.
The project says its presale has raised $33,026,974.13, while the token is priced at $0.0136846. Staking is also available to early participants. Its decentralized canonical bridge is designed to enable BTC transfers while addressing some of Bitcoin’s limitations around programmability.
