XRP Eyes a Potential Breakout as ETF Inflows Continue for 13 Consecutive Weeks

XRP ETFs have attracted $8 million in net inflows this week, extending their streak of positive flows to 13 consecutive weeks. By contrast, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana investment products have collectively experienced $1.25 billion in outflows. The difference suggests investors are showing greater relative interest in XRP exposure as the token trades around $1.37, though its price performance will ultimately determine whether that demand translates into upward momentum.

Positive flows into XRP ETFs were limited to two of the five trading sessions. The products received $3.14 million on October 6 and $8.17 million on October 8, while the remaining three sessions recorded zero net flows. This means the weekly inflow total was driven by two sessions rather than a steady stream of investment throughout the week.

XRP ETFs reported $1.57 billion in net assets, while their cumulative net inflows since launch reached $1.80 billion. Meanwhile, Bitcoin ETFs registered $681.1 million in net withdrawals, Ethereum funds lost $542.07 million, and Solana products recorded $24.81 million in outflows. Together, these three categories experienced withdrawals approximately 110 times greater than the amount XRP ETFs attracted during the week.

Ethereum ETFs faced net outflows in every session between October 5 and October 9. Solana products also saw their 14-week run of positive flows end, while Bitcoin ETFs recorded a negative week following three consecutive weeks of inflows. These reversals highlight how quickly investor allocations can change and why short-term flow figures should not automatically be interpreted as evidence of a lasting trend.

The difference in performance points to selective demand for XRP rather than a broad-based increase in appetite for cryptocurrency investment products. However, ETF data reflects money entering and leaving funds without revealing the precise intentions of individual investors.

Bitcoin ETFs had recorded $1.918 billion in net inflows just weeks earlier, demonstrating how significantly weekly capital movements can fluctuate as market conditions change.

XRP Price Faces a Key Test Near $1.37

XRP was trading around $1.37 in the October 14 snapshot, with support near $1.35 and resistance around $1.40. The token’s ability to break through this resistance could help determine whether its current trading range develops into a stronger upward move.

A rise above $1.38 would provide an important technical signal, while $1.35 remains a nearby support level. The wider $1.30–$1.43 range also offers a reference for traders monitoring potential breakouts and downside risks. However, these levels do not guarantee a particular outcome.

The 13-week streak of ETF inflows provides a positive indication of continued interest in XRP-related products. Still, fund flows alone cannot confirm a bullish trend or predict the token’s next move. Price structure, trading volume, and overall crypto market sentiment remain important considerations.

If XRP advances above $1.40, traders will look for sustained buying activity to establish whether the move represents a genuine breakout. If the token remains below resistance, continued ETF inflows may not be enough to generate a sustained rally.

The immediate focus remains on whether XRP can clear the $1.38 resistance area or continues to trade below it. Until price action provides confirmation, the latest ETF figures indicate relative investor interest rather than a confirmed shift toward a bullish trend.
