Cross-Chain Buzz Fuels ICP’s Recent Price Move
Internet Computer Holds Key Levels Amid Market Consolidation
Internet Computer (ICP) rose 1.1% over the past 24 hours as price action remained confined between critical support and resistance levels, according to CoinDesk Research.
The token traded within a 5.5% intraday range, oscillating between repeated support tests and brief rallies that failed to surpass near-term resistance. Early trading saw elevated volume, with 1.96 million ICP tokens changing hands — 124% above the 24-hour average — briefly pushing the price toward $3.87 before stalling at $3.83.
ICP retraced 2.6% later in the session, testing the psychological $3.70 level. A descending channel has capped gains, and a 244,000-token spike at 13:39 UTC underscored persistent supply. Despite selling pressure, support at $3.69–$3.70 held, preserving the short-term structure.
Traders noted cross-chain development narratives as a catalyst, though intraday moves remained technically driven. ICP now trades in a tight range, with $3.69–$3.70 as support and $3.83 as the key resistance. A breakout may require renewed trading volume.
