CASHCAT Rally Accelerates With 120% Weekly Gain Amid Robinhood Chain Growth

CASHCAT, the meme token that emerged as Robinhood Chain’s first major breakout asset, has rebounded to an $86 million market capitalization, while the tokenized assets the blockchain was created to support currently account for about $27.6 million in value.

The cat-themed memecoin has gained 120% over the last week, recovering from the downturn that followed the excitement surrounding Robinhood Chain’s launch in July. The recovery comes as many other tokens introduced during the network’s early trading period have seen activity decline.

CASHCAT is currently trading near $0.087, rising 22% in the past 24 hours, with daily trading volume of about $9 million. Despite the recent rally, the token remains well below its mid-July record of around $0.22.

The token was launched by outside developers using the cat-with-cash branding that existed before Robinhood’s rebrand. Its official site labels it as “fan fiction with a ticker.” Shortly after Robinhood Chain’s July 1 mainnet launch, CASHCAT became the network’s first major success, creating large returns for some early buyers.

The token’s popularity also caught the attention of Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev. After previously describing cryptocurrencies without utility as a dead end, Tenev later acknowledged that Robinhood Chain could also support meme-focused assets.

However, the broader token launch wave has largely faded. Noxa, the launchpad that supported many of the projects released during July’s activity surge, stopped accepting new launches on July 11 and shut down shortly after, reportedly generating around $12 million in fees.

The number of daily token deployments on Robinhood Chain has dropped from approximately 35,000 during the July peak to around 10,000. Noxa still holds roughly $137,000 worth of CASHCAT and has not reduced its holdings, with its position remaining unchanged as the token price increased.

CASHCAT has also seen broader ownership distribution. DEXTools data indicates the token now has around 41,200 holders, with the entire 989 million supply in circulation and no locked tokens.

The largest holder is the Uniswap liquidity pool, which contains 2.47% of the supply. Other major wallets each hold between 1.3% and 1.5%.

Liquidity for the token currently stands at about $5 million, down from the $6.6 million pool that supported a $105 million valuation in July. Even after the decline, it remains the deepest liquidity pool among memecoins on Robinhood Chain.

Meanwhile, the overall Robinhood Chain ecosystem has continued expanding. Total value locked has reached $774 million, increasing 20% over the past seven days.

Lending protocols account for around 43% of the network’s locked assets, while asset management represents approximately 41.5%. Morpho leads with about $332 million locked and serves as the lending infrastructure behind Robinhood’s on-chain earning product. Ethena follows with nearly $236 million in assets through its yield-bearing dollar-pegged token.

Stablecoin liquidity has also grown, reaching $575 million, a 14% increase from the previous week.

Tokenized real-world assets, which are central to Robinhood Chain’s long-term vision, now have an active market value of roughly $100 million, up from around $70 million in late July. At that time, several tokenized stocks exceeded $500,000 in daily volume, while GameStop-related assets alone reached $26 million.

Robinhood is subsidizing network transaction fees until approximately late September. Once that support ends, user willingness to pay transaction costs will provide a clearer picture of whether the ecosystem can sustain long-term activity.
