XRP Gains Attention as Ripple Teams Up to Strengthen Portugal’s Crypto Landscape.

Ripple has announced a new partnership with Unicâmbio, a Portuguese currency exchange provider, to enhance cross-border payments between Portugal and Brazil. This collaboration marks Ripple’s first venture into the Portuguese market, aiming to provide faster and more affordable international transactions through its digital asset-powered payment network.

The new service allows Unicâmbio’s corporate clients to process transactions and settle payments in real time, using Ripple’s innovative payment platform. Cassie Craddock, Managing Director for Ripple in the UK and Europe, highlighted Portugal’s growing cryptocurrency ecosystem and expressed excitement about offering Ripple’s solutions to businesses there.

“By connecting our payment networks across Portugal and Brazil, we’re offering a more efficient, cost-effective solution for cross-border transactions and strengthening economic ties between these key markets,” Craddock stated.

Ripple’s platform utilizes the XRP Ledger, enabling the exchange of various currencies, both fiat and cryptocurrencies, through a network of financial institutions using the XRP token.
