Sui Surges After Google Names It a Launch Partner for AP2 – 16/9/2025

Sui (SUI) outperformed the broader crypto market following its selection as a launch partner for Google’s Agentic Payments Protocol (AP2), a system designed to allow AI agents to conduct financial transactions for users.

The token rose nearly 4% in the past 24 hours, climbing from $3.509 to $3.622, while the CoinDesk 20 index gained just 1%. SUI is currently trading around $3.63.

The announcement boosted an already bullish trend. Trading volume jumped to 33.14 million, almost four times the 24-hour average of 8.73 million. Combined with rising intraday lows and consistent bids above $3.50, this suggests possible institutional accumulation.

During intraday trading, SUI hit $3.65 before dipping to $3.57 and settling near $3.60. Buyers later regained the $3.61–$3.65 range, though volume declined as some traders took profits.

With Google’s partnership now active, the next resistance zone for bulls appears to be between $3.70 and $3.75.
