KULR Grows Bitcoin Treasury to 800 BTC After $9 Million Purchase
KULR Increases Bitcoin Holdings to Over 800 BTC with $9 Million Acquisition
Energy management company KULR (KULR) has expanded its bitcoin treasury to exceed 800 BTC following a recent $9 million purchase at an average price of $103,234 per bitcoin.
This purchase raises KULR’s total bitcoin investment to roughly $78 million, in line with its treasury policy announced in December 2024, which commits to holding up to 90% of its excess cash reserves in bitcoin.
Based in Houston, KULR develops advanced energy storage solutions for aerospace and defense industries. The company tracks the effectiveness of its bitcoin strategy using a BTC Yield metric, which measures the growth in bitcoin holdings relative to its outstanding shares rather than dollar returns.
According to KULR’s latest press release, this BTC Yield ratio has increased by 220 points so far in 2025, reflecting significant growth in bitcoin exposure on a per-share basis.
KULR’s shares climbed 3.15% in pre-market trading, reaching $1.30.
