Geopolitical Tensions Drag Shiba Inu to Two-Month Lows Following Trump’s Threats Against Khamenei

SHIB Breaks Support After Resistance Rejection; Bears Dominate as Global Tensions Rise

Shiba Inu (SHIB) broke below critical support on Tuesday, dropping 3.5% to $0.00001134, as traders responded to heightened global tension and bearish technical signals.

The rejection at $0.00001230 on Monday marked a key turning point. From there, SHIB entered a high-volume sell-off zone between 22:00–00:00 UTC, with over 1.3 billion tokens exchanged. A fleeting support level around $0.00001167 was invalidated early Tuesday as bearish sentiment deepened.

Price action entered a consolidation phase within the $0.00001175–$0.00001182 range, suggesting short-term indecision. An attempted recovery at 13:30 UTC lifted the token to $0.00001182, but sellers quickly returned with even heavier volume, driving a 3% drop just minutes later.

Now hovering near its session lows, SHIB appears oversold on shorter timeframes, though macro volatility — driven by U.S.–Iran tensions — continues to pressure risk assets. Unless a strong reversal follows, the next test may come closer to April’s broader support band.
