Floki Introduces No-Cost Crypto Debit Card, Enhancing Token Fundamentals.

Floki (FLOKI), the popular memecoin project, launched a zero-fee debit card on Monday, initially available in 31 European countries, with plans to expand to more regions in the future. The card allows users to spend various cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), tether (USDT), BNB Chain’s BNB, and FLOKI, at merchants that accept VISA or Mastercard. It also comes with no transaction or exchange rate fees and supports over eight blockchain networks.

The physical card is priced at $33, while the virtual version costs just over $10. A 2% fee is applied when transferring tokens into the spending account linked to the card.

Floki’s lead developer, “B,” told CoinDesk via Telegram that the new debit card enables FLOKI holders to spend their tokens easily at millions of merchants worldwide, without the typical hassle of converting crypto to fiat. A VIP card with higher daily and monthly limits will also be available, offering users up to $50,000 per day and $250,000 per month.

The card will not be available in regions under U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions or where banks have imposed restrictions.

Currently, the card is available in countries such as Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
