ARB Experiences Sharp Gains After Arbitrum Listed Among Supported Chains for PayPal’s $850M PYUSD Stablecoin
ARB Token Climbs as PayPal Adds Arbitrum to Its $850M PYUSD Stablecoin Network
Arbitrum’s native token, ARB, surged on Wednesday following PayPal’s update to its cryptocurrency terms, which now includes Arbitrum as a supported blockchain for its $850 million PYUSD stablecoin.
The revised terms list Arbitrum alongside Ethereum and Solana, where PYUSD is already live. Issued by Paxos, PYUSD is available across these networks, broadening its reach to users.
In the last 24 hours, ARB rose 7.7%, outperforming major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Although no official statements have been released by PayPal or Paxos regarding this development, the update suggests growing adoption of Arbitrum within mainstream crypto payment infrastructures.
Notably, Stellar (XLM), previously announced as a PYUSD platform, was absent from this update.
Separately, Robinhood has partnered with Arbitrum to introduce tokenized equity offerings, further enhancing the network’s profile.
