Ethereum Eyes $13K in Q4 as SharpLink Boosts Treasury With $295M ETH Buy
A prominent crypto analyst on X, known as “Wolf,” has laid out a bullish scenario for Ethereum (ETH), forecasting a potential surge to $13,000 as early as the fourth quarter of 2025. Even under a more conservative outlook, the analyst expects ETH to reach at least $8,000, signaling strong upside from current levels.
In a technical breakdown shared Friday, Wolf highlighted Ethereum’s recent breakout and warned of a short-term correction of 20–25%, which he characterized as a final shakeout before the next leg higher in a long-term uptrend.
Institutional support appears to be growing, further validating the bullish sentiment. Blockchain data from Lookonchain revealed that SharpLink Gaming (NASDAQ: SBET) added 77,210 ETH—worth approximately $295 million—to its treasury this week. The company now holds a total of 438,017 ETH (valued at around $1.69 billion), making it the largest public corporate holder of Ethereum.
The purchase followed SharpLink’s appointment of former BlackRock executive Joseph Chalom as co-CEO and came just three days after the firm disclosed 567 ETH in staking rewards since beginning its accumulation on June 2.
Sentiment around ETH has shifted dramatically, according to Placeholder Ventures partner Chris Burniske, who noted that “ETH went from most hated coin to darling of CT in ~5 weeks.” Since June 23, Ethereum has gained approximately 73%.
As of writing, ETH is trading at $3,884, up 2% over the past 24 hours, based on CoinDesk data.
