Despite limited upside in 2025 so far, large investors appear increasingly bullish on XRP.

Blockchain intelligence firm Santiment reports that more than 2,700 wallets now hold at least 1 million XRP, a record figure for the asset since its inception over 12 years ago. The milestone suggests that institutional-style wallets are quietly building exposure.

In addition, XRP network participation is rising. The number of daily active addresses has jumped to an average of 295,000, up sharply from recent months. This level of engagement indicates that XRP continues to gain traction among users and developers, even in the absence of major price movement.

As of Tuesday, XRP trades flat at $2.23, posting a year-to-date gain of just 7.5%, according to CoinDesk data. However, these on-chain dynamics may be setting the stage for a longer-term shift in sentiment.
