BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF Grabs Majority Share With 62% of Inflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $730.8 million in net inflows on September 3, with BlackRock’s IBIT accounting for $454 million. The single fund contributed more than 60% of the total capital that entered the market during the session.

The daily figures provide a breakdown of investor activity across individual Bitcoin ETF products. Because fund issuers can submit reports after the initial data is published, the totals may be revised. The numbers should therefore be treated as tracker data for the September 3 session.

BlackRock’s IBIT Dominates ETF Flows

IBIT was the strongest performer among the spot Bitcoin ETFs, recording $454 million in net inflows. The amount was substantially higher than the figures reported by the other funds.

ARK 21Shares’ ARKB attracted $137.7 million, placing it second, while Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $74.4 million. Together with IBIT, the three products accounted for most of the positive flows reported during the day.

Other ETFs also saw investors add capital. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust, identified as BTC in the tracker, received $48.8 million. Bitwise’s BITB recorded $24.8 million, followed by Grayscale’s GBTC with $8.2 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT with $7.7 million.

The buying was not broad-based across every product. VanEck’s HODL recorded a $19.6 million net outflow, while WisdomTree’s BTCW saw $5.2 million leave the fund.

Franklin’s EZBC, Invesco Galaxy’s BTCO and CoinShares’ BRRR each showed no net flow for the session, according to the tracker.

Bitcoin ETF Inflows Show Strong Concentration

IBIT’s outsized inflow is important when assessing the overall $730.8 million figure. While the combined market posted a strong positive result, the data show that a large portion of the demand was concentrated in BlackRock’s product.

The September 3 numbers should also be viewed as a single-day snapshot rather than evidence of a lasting trend. Bitcoin ETF flows can shift significantly between sessions, with periods of strong inflows followed by days of redemptions.

For investors evaluating the latest data, the key factors are the overall $730.8 million net inflow, IBIT’s dominant contribution and the differing results among individual issuers. The figures could change as additional fund reports are incorporated.

Coinfuty’s tracker covers daily creations and redemptions, total net assets, Bitcoin held in trust and premiums or discounts to net asset value. The platform says its figures are updated once per U.S. trading day and notes that a dash may indicate a fund has not yet reported, rather than showing that no flows occurred.
